Spring and May in Norway means lots of official holidays, which calls for impromptu photowalks when the weather allows. And boy did it allow on Ascension Day..! Still a few days early for the proper spring feeling, the beech forest had just begun showing off its magnificent green colours. Things happen so quickly this time of the year — my friend Lisbeth and I spent four hours (!) in that forest, and it felt like we could almost watch the leaves popping. After having exhausted the beech forest, we went on to visit a Natural Reserve nearby, known for its magnificent carpets of wood anemones.

Most of these are taken using Edge 80, some (obviously) are Circular FishEye, and I believe there’s one single Sweet 35 in there as well. Click to view larger:
