Ok, not really true — but my last photo trip _did_ count for a spine chilling height factor.
Last Saturday, three photo friends and I drove a couple of hours up the Setesdal to a place called Ose. The valley (-dal means valley) has steep hills on both sides and several magnificent waterfalls. We visited two of them; Reiårsfossen and Heisfossen. We also had a couple of stops at other places, like the tiny chapel in the last photo. I plan on doing more trips up this valley this summer — it’s not like we get to travel abroad in a while yet.
All images but the last are taken with Lensbaby Edge 35 optic on a 1.5x crop sensor Nikon camera; the chapel photo is taken with the Lensbaby Burnside 35 lens. Please click to view large:
I am taking part in a Lensbaby blog circle. On the first of each month there will be a new blog post, where you can navigate to the other participants’ blogs through a circle of links. You may have gotten here from Seonaid Teal; please click the button to visit the next blog:
Hi,
where can i join the lensbaby circle?
Best regards

Bernhard, click the link in the box above, it goes to a facebook group for the blog circle. 🙂
The photo shown here is really refreshing I can formally feel the water 😉 Some of the photos look really like you have been in a dangerous situation – standing in the water at the edge of the fall. The toy effect goes great in the hills. I also love the little chapel with the sunstar on top. The valley looks like a really quiet area. I love those places as well!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Herzliche Grüße
Birgit
Amazing shots. You really get a sense of the height and speed of the water flow.
Dear Birgit, stunning photographs. I like the miniature effect for the landscape that makes it great and small at the same time. I never could walk there.
