My friend just returned from a visit to her homeplace Senja, an island on the northern coast of Norway. This reminded me to post a few photos from the trip that I went along on, last September. Senja is said to be a “Norway in miniature”, with all sorts of landscape seen elsewhere in Norway represented within the island.

It looks amazing and reminds me of holidays on the north west cost of Scotland and home.
Yes, the Scottish landscape is similar to the Norwegian in many ways — I would love to visit the highlands and the islands on the north/north-western coast of the UK sometime.
