My friend just returned from a visit to her homeplace Senja, an island on the northern coast of Norway. This reminded me to post a few photos from the trip that I went along on, last September. Senja is said to be a “Norway in miniature”, with all sorts of landscape seen elsewhere in Norway represented within the island.

I am taking part in a Lensbaby blog circle. On the first of each month there will be a new blog post, where you can navigate to the other participants’ blogs through a circle of links. You may have gotten here from Seonaid Teal; please click the button to visit the next blog:
It looks amazing and reminds me of holidays on the north west cost of Scotland and home.
Yes, the Scottish landscape is similar to the Norwegian in many ways — I would love to visit the highlands and the islands on the north/north-western coast of the UK sometime.
Hi Birgit,
i´ve never been in Norway, but i like the landscape and the houses there 😀
Best regards Bernhard
It is well worth a trip, Bernhard — fully recommended! 🙂
