A photo walk with friends got an impromptu extra activity added when we passed a blacksmith’s shop and noticed there were people inside. One of the photographers knew the blacksmiths, and we were invited inside. We were eight photographers altogether, so the shooting angles were somewhat restricted. I hope to return under more planned circumstances!Β

Great details and I love the movement in some of the photos. There are two persons – I thought one of them it’s a woman? Then I thought – no that job is too hard. And the next photo I again thought that is a woman. Great! I think I would felt well in that shop. There are so many things to see and these look really great!
Love your little journey!

Yes, one of them; Monica, is indeed a woman. She was training for her journeyman’s letter as a blacksmith, she had this awesome design for a fireplace set going on. π The forge was truly a goldmine of motifs!
I love these because they are different. My favourites are the shots of the tools and the three lumps of metal.
Thank you, Seanoid βΒ I really like the one of the three lumps myself, it has some kind of texture to it which I love.
