In the town where I live we are blessed with an exceptionally large and diverse group of musicians; professionals as well as talented amateurs. On the last Friday of the month, we celebrate this by arranging an open mike concert series called “Social club” (yes, after that Wim Wenders film). This concert series has lasted for over ten years, and I’ve been a photographer there for the last few of those. Every now and then, I mount a Lensbaby lens on my camera – I think music photography suits the artistic look of Lensbaby quite well! This time, I actually received several positive remarks, which is always cool when you’re presenting non-traditional photographs.
