A short stop at Stampefoss on Christmas Eve
A few pics from Stampefoss, our local waterfall, this wet and dark Christmas Eve.
Old and new
A photowalk with friends, a lovely spring evening, offered rust and decay and remnants from busier days, mixed with signs of new life.
Music to my eyes
I don’t play my clarinet anymore, but it lends itself beautifully to photography.
Foggy October
I really like the foggy October landscapes!
A Danish autumn report
Danish autumn holiday trip – my family went to Legoland, and I ventured out with my cameras. Life like it should be!
Finally, the water is back
We’ve had plenty of rain this fall, which is evident in the massive rush of water through the Kaldvell watercourse.
Twisted evening
Oldest kiddo and I ran out to soak up some of the lovely September evening sun – to better cope with inbetween rainy days, school, and work tasks.
Evening at the beach
An evening trip to the beach – I just love being by water, whether it be a stream, a river, a waterfall, a lake, or the sea – always have.
Fields of gold – Sol 22 and Danish fields
Testing the brand new Sol 22 by Lensbaby, the widest lens they’ve made for m 4/3 cameras. The fixed aperture really makes you rethink your shooting style!
Special wood anemone
Wood anemone, or anemone nemorosa, is perhaps the most common spring flower in Norway.
Just a quick test batch with my new camera
I got a new camera today, a Nikon D500 which I hope will be my new best friend when it comes to concert photography – it’s a beast when it comes to churning high ISO numbers.
Spring spring spring!
Ahhhh, even my allergies can’t stop me from thoroughly enjoying spring after the hardest winter in ages.
Snow in April – just, nope.
Just what you long for at the end of a long winter; another snowfall..! Hopefully it will all be gone in the morning.
Even more Hepatica Nobilis – last round this year?
Yesterday I revisited my favourite spot for Hepatica Nobilis, and there were so many! I spent a lovely couple of hours making art with the Velvet 56 lens.
.. and out with the old
In with the new, out with the old – spring is the best season! Loving the intriguing contrast between withered leaves and fresh spring buds.
When the blues is something you long for
The Hepatica nobilis are the first daring spring flowers where I live. These tiny blues were captured last weekend, using my precious Velvet 56.
Spring finally here?
Oh spring, how I long for thee. Another seaside walk, still equipped with that V56, only one kid tagged along this time.
Bubbly bokeh
Took my two boys for a seaside stroll, equipped with my brand new Velvet 56. So exited for this lens! That bubbly bokeh the V56 produces is something else!
