Vrångsholmen – where anything can happen
I spend quite a bit of time taking pictures of abandoned houses, buildings, and other man-made constructions. This is from day 1 of a weekend in Sweden.
Abandoned amusement park
The contrast between abandoned man-made and unstoppably growing nature fascinates me to no end. With an abandoned playground you get the added perspective of missing joy and childrens’ play – eerie, spooky, yet intriguing.
Model workshop weekend
This weekend was spent with photography friends at a cottage in the snow filled mountains, we were having a model workshop. Taking pictures of models is new to me – but as such, the weekend was valuable as the first step of many in a progress.
At Spornes — first photowalk of the year
I met up with a group of people from the camera club for some fresh and windy new year’s air. A perfect place to kick off the new photography year!
LM-10, selective focus for cellphone camera
My test drive of the Lensbaby cellphone lens LM-10, newly arrived after a successful Kickstarter campaign.
Edge 80 first run
My first photowalk with the Edge 80 optic. The tilt plane is difficult to get right!
It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.
(Henry David Thoreau)
A camera is a tool for learning how to see without a camera.
(Dorothea Lange)
Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.
