We don’t really have a park in our town, although there are petitions and people working to get more green spaces downtown. As it is, the cemetery is our nicest park.
Morbid as it may seem, I really enjoy it there. The cemetery is quite old – from 1814 – and designed with inspiration from France and England. Part of it has terraces of stone, with small iron fences around each lot. There are trees and small forest areas, plenty of flowers – and it’s very well kept.
