I met with my friend Elin again today, at the same beach we visited yesterday. Today was chilly, though!
A freezing wind caused us to re-evaluate our plans, and we ended up driving back towards home to check out the beech forest. At least it wouldn’t be windy there, we thought.
Much to our (pleasant) surprise, the beech trees’ buds had started bursting! It’ such a lovely place to be, the beech forest, in spring – that green colour compares to nothing else. I will be returning here in the days to come, to get the most out of this beautiful time of the year.
