In April I had the opportunity to beta test the latest addition to the OMNI creative filters family. The previous filters have all looked like wands – basically, an oblong-shaped crystal attached to a shaft – these new ones are completely different! They consist of plastic sheets, most of them semitransparent, with a mirroring effect. Some are flexible and bendable (and can be cut into pieces), others are hard and solid. Two of them are pierced with holes, and referred to as the “swiss cheese filters”!
I spent some time getting to grips with the opportunities, and still don’t feel like I’ve explored them thoroughly. Here are some of my first tries, click to view large:
